I'm a Motion Generalist with over a decade of experience across a wide range of 2D and 3D animation projects. My work includes UI animations and mockups for apps and websites, story-driven character pieces, advanced templating for large-scale advertising campaigns, motion graphics, compositing, editing, generative image and video AI, and more.

I consider myself a jack of all trades, and I'm happiest when I get to work on a diverse mix of projects that challenge me in different ways.

Monks

February 2015 – Present

After graduating with a Bachelor of Science, I joined (Media)Monks, where I had completed my graduation internship. During my internship in the Rich Media department, I focused on Flash animation for interactive banners. Following this, I moved to the Animation department, where I developed into the motion generalist I am today. I initially worked on UI animation mockups for websites and apps, providing guides for developers, and gradually expanded into motion graphics and character animation, contributing to story-driven projects — including the Emmy-winning work on the Netflix documentary Down to Earth with Zac Efron. Over time, I also branched into 3D modeling and animation, and in recent years my focus has been steadily shifting toward AI-driven creative workflows.

During my HBO Communication & Media Design studies at HAN University of Applied Sciences in Arnhem, I worked at B302, a student-run media company where students take on real projects for actual clients. As Lead Designer, I focused on both digital and print design, managed a small team of designers, and collaborated closely with the development team to bring creative concepts to life.

After completing the four-year MBO Level 4 Media Design program at ROC Nijmegen, I started freelancing as a web and graphic designer. I designed and built websites using HTML and CSS, and created interactive elements and animations with Flash. Alongside web projects, I also designed a variety of print materials, including magazines, posters, and booklets.
